How to book
The venue is generally available from Easter to mid-October, with bookings typically for Saturdays between midday and 11:30 PM (music off by 11 PM). Only one booking is taken per week. For a Saturday event, access is provided on Friday for setting up and Sunday for clearing up (cleaning is handled by the venue). External catering is allowed, and while the venue recommends trusted caterers, others can be used after meeting and approval. Hirers are allowed to bring their own alcohol with no corkage charge; caterers can staff the bar and provide glasses/ice. Live music is permitted, but only professional bands are allowed, and all equipment must be PAT tested and musicians fully insured. Drum kits are not recommended, and no amplified music is allowed outside the barn. String quartets and unamplified solo musicians are welcome outside during the day. A Temporary Event Notice (TEN) is required if having live music or a pay bar; this is the hirer's responsibility to apply for (costs £21, at least 10 working days in advance). The cancellation policy offers a full refund 60+ days prior, 50% refund 30-60 days, and is non-refundable within 30 days. Event dates can be changed within 2 months of the original date at no cost.
