How to Book
To inquire about hiring facilities, contact the church office via phone or email. A booking form needs to be completed. Bookings cancelled by the hirer less than 48 hours before the start of the hire period will not be refunded. Bookings cancelled by the church will be refunded in full. Rates for regular users are reviewed annually. Payments for recurring bookings should be made at least monthly in arrears, preferably via bank transfer. Keys may be provided for access and remain the responsibility of the hirer. Hirers must return facilities to a clean and tidy condition, return furniture and equipment to original location, remove all litter, turn off all lights and heaters, ensure kitchen equipment is returned to original state, secure doors and windows, and return keys to the Church key safe (if provided). Hirers must comply with legal requirements for music, alcohol, singing, dancing, theatre licences, copyright, and trading, seeking church approval before applying for event licenses. Ensure proper supervision for events involving children in accordance with the Children's Act. Provide a copy of the group's risk assessment to the church office. Ensure any electrical equipment used has proof of PAT testing within the last 12 months. No naked lights, candles (except cake candles, not left unattended), flammable liquids/gases, cleaning solutions, or portable heaters are permitted. No table confetti, paper debris, smoke, bubble, or haze machines. Adhere to the No Smoking policy indoors. Responsible for fire brigade call-out charges if caused by prohibited items. Responsible for own insurance to cover liabilities, as PCC insurance does not extend to hirer's liabilities. Maximum capacities must not be exceeded. Facilities must be vacated at the end of the booked time unless by prior agreement. Bringing in and installing equipment, food, drink, or decoration in advance requires prior agreement. Stiletto heels or high heels with missing protective caps (metal tip showing) are not to be worn in the hall. Parking is available but vehicles must be within marked bays; no parking on yellow hatched areas.
