The Dockyard Club

The Dockyard Club offers a function room suitable for children's parties, adult/family parties, dance/fitness classes, shows, plays, panto, business meetings, office parties, and wakes. Restrictions apply: No 16th, 18th, 21st birthday parties. No weddings (as of February 2024). No hot food on premises (no preparation or kitchen facilities). Only drinks provided by the club are permitted. Limited decorations: balloons, flowers, banners acceptable. No items to be placed on walls (banners can be affixed to bar and poster frames with pins only, no sellotape or blu-tack). No party poppers, silly string, confetti, confetti balloons, table glitter shapes. No tea lights or candles (LED candles acceptable). Helium balloon canisters must be removed by hirer. Alcoholic gifts received by guests will be stored by door staff for collection at end of evening (not to be opened on premises). No cloakroom facilities available; club not liable for loss or theft of items. Club may close earlier than advertised on quiet evenings (Sunday, Monday, Tuesday); advisable to call ahead for anticipated closing times if visiting later.
