The Stade Open Space is an outdoor event area spanning 2,000 m². Situated in the Old Town of Hastings, it is known for high visitor footfall and is easily accessible from Hastings mainline station with direct links to London, Brighton, Gatwick Airport, and Ashford International. It is suitable for small to medium size outdoor events such as food festivals, art installations, community events, cultural festivities, intimate musical performances, commercial markets (public access must be free), and car demonstrations (public access must be free). Around two-thirds of the open space is owned by the Foreshore Trust, leading to certain restrictions: an entrance fee can only be charged if the site is hired for charitable or not-for-profit organisations, and for commercial hires, public access to the site must remain free.
