Thornford Village Hall is a spacious, light and airy venue with a modern, fully equipped kitchen. It is located just 3 miles outside of Sherborne town, easy to reach from around Dorset and further afield, set back from the main road facing gently rolling Dorset hills. The Main Hall features two sets of double doors leading to patio areas and a small pullout platform stage. A comfortable Committee Room is also available, which can be hired on its own or with the hall and kitchen.

Bookings Secretary Cathie Graham can be contacted on 07957887553 (after 6PM weekdays or at weekends during normal hours; answering machine for calls made earlier on weekdays) or via email at bookings@thornford.org.uk. Minimum hire is 2 hours. Wedding and special occasion packages (48-hour) are available. Enquiries from clubs and societies are welcome, and tailored requirements are possible subject to availability. To book, contact the Bookings Secretary via phone or email, or use the website's contact form. Provide event type, name, address, telephone number, desired date (and alternative if possible), and times required for a no-obligation quotation. Booking well in advance is recommended, especially for summer months. Rates are kept as reasonable as possible.
