How to Book

The best way to enquire about a new booking is to fill out the booking form on their website. No booking is confirmed until approved by the booking secretary. Saturday and Bank Holiday bookings are only available for whole day bookings, unless the booking is made less than 3 months before the event. Saturday and Sunday bookings are for Whole Hall only. If providing alcohol (not selling), seek permission from the Upchurch Village Hall committee and request on the booking form. If selling alcohol, arrange a licensed bar; The Crown, Upchurch, is the designated licensee and must be contacted first and notified on the booking form. No decorations are allowed to be stuck to wall surfaces or hung from the ceiling to prevent damage to paintwork. If using inflatables/bouncy castles, a copy of the hiring company's public liability insurance must be provided. No animals are allowed, except support dogs. Hirers must return the hall to its original state, including storing tables and chairs, cleaning the kitchen, removing rubbish, checking toilets, and turning off lights (hall lights turn off automatically). A clear-away service for evening parties is available for an additional fee.
