How to Book

Available for hire to residents of Walkhampton and Dousland, and visitors from outside the villages. Suitable for social functions, meetings, charity events, private parties, and regular events for local clubs and societies. To book: Visit the calendar page to check availability, read the 'Terms and Conditions of Hire' and 'Hire Charges' documents, then click on 'New Booking' to complete the online booking form. A provisional booking acknowledgment email will be sent. Booking is confirmed after acceptance by the Booking Secretary and payment of a deposit. Final payment is due according to the terms and conditions. An email with access information and a code will be sent approximately a week before the event. The access code will be cancelled after the event. The deposit will be returned after the event, assuming the hall is left clean, tidy, and undamaged. Ensure enough time is booked for setup and clear-up. The building must be left clean and tidy, and all rubbish removed. For alcohol licence forms requiring Management Committee sign-off, paperwork must be submitted to the Administrator before the committee meeting (usually first Tuesday of every month).
