How to book

Online booking is available and constitutes legal acceptance of terms and conditions. The hall is run by volunteers with full-time jobs and families, so replies may take time. Caretaker opens the hall 5 minutes before booked start time and closes 5 minutes after. Hirer or a representative must be on the premises at all times, including setup. Cancellation policy: within 28 days 10% of total fee charged, within 21 days 15% charged, within 14 days 25% charged, within 7 days 40% charged, within 48 hours 65% charged, within 24 hours 75% charged, on the day non-refundable. No-shows: booking cancelled and non-refundable if no contact 15 minutes after booked start time. All cancellations incur a 2.5% charge to cover merchant costs. Overrun charges: up to 15 minutes £20, up to 30 minutes £50, up to 1 hour £100, over 1 hour £150 per additional hour. Failure to keep to agreed hire times will incur additional fees. Hall must be left clean and tidy, in 'as you found it' condition. Deposit may be withheld for unreasonable condition or damage. Prohibited items/activities: Smoking in or around the hall, animals inside (except guide/hearing dogs), liquids on the dancefloor (immediate £50 deduction for spillages), confetti, beads, glitter, sequins (immediate £50 cleaning charge), sticking anything to the walls, hazardous materials (e.g., compressed gas cylinders, paraffin heaters). From Monday, February 23, 2026, Princess Drive will be a 'School Street' (08:00-09:10 and 15:00-16:10 Mon-Fri during term time). Visitors must enter/exit via Caverswall Road > Hall Drive to avoid PCN notices.
