How to Book

A booking is confirmed when it is paid for. All one-off bookings must be paid for in full 1 month before the event date. Failure to do so will result in the slot being released. Regular bookings are invoiced one month in arrears and must be paid within 7 days of invoice date; failure to pay incurs a £5 admin charge. Arrangements for opening and closing the hall will be communicated approximately a week before the booking. Hirers are responsible for providing cleaning materials. Hall must be left clean and tidy, including outside areas. All rubbish to be placed in bins provided; surplus rubbish must be removed by hirer. All tables and chairs must be wiped clean before being put away and returned to the store room according to instructions. Before leaving, ensure all doors and windows are closed, gas supply (if used) is turned off, electrical appliances are cleaned and turned off, and all lights are turned off. On leaving, check all external doors are locked and close entrance gates. Lost keys incur a £200 charge. Hirer is responsible for reporting any damage; cost of repairs/replacement will be charged to the hirer. Persons using the premises do so at their own risk; the hall does not accept responsibility for theft, loss of property, or accidents. Any portable appliances brought onto premises must be tested. No portable heaters are to be brought onto the premises.

Curfew NotesMusic must be turned off by the end of the regulated entertainment hours (Mon-Thu 11pm, Fri-Sat 11:30pm, Sun 10:30pm, New Year's Eve 12:30am), and premises vacated within 30 minutes. Hirer is responsible for adhering to licensing laws and ensuring noise levels do not exceed authorised limits. The venue is no-smoking. Sale of alcohol is strictly prohibited unless made by an appropriate license holder or by the hirer with a Temporary Event Notice (TEN). No license needed for live music unless attended by more than 500 people.
