About
The present Buriton Village Hall was opened in 1997 and has been serving the village and the wider community since then. It is an excellent, well equipped, versatile venue for a wide range of activities. It is also the main facility for village functions and events such as the Village Show (August), Fireworks (November), Heritage Bank Exhibition (September) as well as for films, lectures, music events, flower arranging, cricket teas, dancing classes, etc.

How to book
We operate an on-line Booking System for both the Main Hall and the Small (Upper) Hall which enables users to see availability, make bookings and see information about existing bookings. For manual (rather than on-line) bookings a Form is available at the foot of this web-page. Bookings are not confirmed until full payment is received. All hirers agree to abide by the conditions of hire and rules. Both the full hiring fee plus a separate £100 deposit are required at the time of booking. A minimum of 8 weeks notice must be given for cancellations otherwise a minimum of £20 or 20% of the value of the booking (whichever is the greater) will be retained. Electronic bank payment details are: Unity Trust Bank, Sort Code: 60-83-01, Account name: Buriton Village Hall, Account number: 20458629. Cheques can be made payable to Buriton Village Hall. The Hall’s insurance policy cover does not embrace a number of activities (bouncy castles, weapons, amusement devices, remote controlled model aircraft, sponsored events, contact sports, business/commercial organisations) and such hirers will need to possess their own insurance cover and provide details.
