About
The Tithe Barn is a Grade II* listed 13th-century barn set within a 300-acre farm under beech hangers near the South Downs Way. It features six huge stone arches, half-hammer beams, and a flagstone floor, with underfloor heating. Old grain bins have been converted into a cosy balcony. The soft white interior provides a neutral tone for various colour schemes. Entrance doors open onto a picturesque meadow with South Downs views. The venue is fully licensed for civil ceremonies and partnerships and offers exclusive use for the whole day. It is child-friendly with an outdoor play area and quiet room, and also pet-friendly. Located in the heart of the South Downs National Park, it is easily accessible from the A3 and A272, between Petersfield and South Harting, and within easy reach of London, Guildford, Portsmouth, Winchester, and Chichester.
