How to Book
The hall is available to hire as the entire building or a combination of various facilities, all charged by the hour. Full details and availability can be found on their online booking system. Bookings are subject to approval by the Village Hall Committee. Individual bookings are confirmed only when payment and a security deposit are received. Cancellations less than 30 days before the booking date will result in loss of booking fee as follows: 30 days or less - 75% refund; 21 days or less - 50% refund; 14 days or less - no refund. Hirer must be aged 18 or over. Responsible for the behaviour of all persons using the premises during the hire period. Ensure sufficient time is booked for setting up and tidying the hall. Hall must only be used for the purpose stated in the booking. Cannot sub-let or transfer the booking. Responsible for observing all statutory provisions, regulations, and conditions imposed by licensing and fire authorities. Responsible for obtaining licenses from the Performing Arts Society for music and stage plays, or payment of royalties. Leave the hall in a clean and tidy condition (floors swept/mopped, kitchen clean, all rubbish removed or placed in commercial bins). All lights, oven, hob, and electrical appliances must be turned off. All doors and windows must be locked and the alarm set on departure. A cleaning service can be paid for in advance for a fee of £50.
