How to Book
Provisional bookings are held for a maximum of 14 days. The full hire fee is required to confirm the booking after this period. Confirmation will be made in writing by the Village Hall booking secretary. The hire fee includes a £100 deposit, which is non-returnable in the event of cancellation if the Hall is not relet. If the hire fee is less than £100, 50% of the hire fee (up to a maximum of £100) is non-returnable. A £100.00 bond is required prior to the event to ensure the rooms are left in good order. This bond is returned if conditions are met. If the hirer cancels, the deposit is non-returnable if the Hall is not relet. If the Hall is relet, the deposit will be refunded. If the Village Hall cancels, liability is limited to a refund of the hire charge only. Hirers are advised to arrange insurance cover for the event to mitigate losses due to cancellation, illness, etc. The hirer must arrange for the Hall to be opened by contacting one of the Hall's volunteers at least 10 days before the event. The hired period must include setting up and clearing up. No drinks (excisable liquor or soft) shall be consumed in the Hall unless supplied by the Village Hall. If the hirer wishes to supply their own drink, prior agreement from the Village Hall is required and will be subject to appropriate corkage charges.
