How to book

Bookings confirmed upon receipt of a completed booking form and deposit (if appropriate). A refundable deposit of £100 is required for provisional one-off bookings at the time of signing T&Cs. One-off hirers will be asked to pay a £100 deposit against the possibility of damage or late cancellation. Full fee invoiced not later than one month before the event date for one-off hirers, payable on receipt. If payment is not received 2 weeks in advance, the contract may be cancelled. Payment by BACS or cheque is preferred to cash. Cancellation Policy: more than three months notice = 100% refund; between one and three months notice = 50% refund; less than one month notice = nil refund. Responsibilities of Hirer: Supervision of the Village Club, car park, surrounding buildings, fences, and grounds. Responsible for the behavior and safety of all attendees, including parking. Proper supervision of noise to not disturb adjoining residential premises. Club to be handed back in a clean condition. Remove all rubbish. Switch off all electrical appliances and leave fridge door open. Secure all doors and windows. Compliance with any performing rights aspects concerning music. Only plastic glasses to be used outside the building. Carry out a risk assessment and report any problems to the steward. Safeguarding of children and vulnerable adults; regular hirers must possess a written policy. If intending to run a pay bar, complete 'Conditions of Sale of Alcohol' and ensure approval by Designated Premises Supervisor. A copy of any Temporary Licence from TVBC must be given to the Treasurer (via Club Steward) at least 2 weeks before the event.
