How to Book

An online booking system is available on the website, where users can select a hall, date, and fill out event details. First-time bookers need to create a customer profile. Alternatively, contact the Booking Secretary Natalie by phone at 07815 163269 to leave a message. It is advised to check the online calendar for availability as it changes frequently. Halls are available to hire provided users accept the conditions of hire. Rates include power, heating, and cleaning (a deposit may be required for some events). Hirers are responsible for leaving the premises clean and tidy, properly locked and secured, and replacing any moved contents, with additional charges for failure to do so. Keys must be returned immediately after the hire period; a £65.00 charge applies for lost keys. Cancellations must be notified in writing or via the online system. Cancellation charges apply: half of the Total Hire Fee for cancellations 28 days or less prior to hire date; three-quarters for 7 days or less. For bookings of 2 consecutive days or more, three-quarters of the Total Hire Fee is charged for cancellations 2 months or less prior to hire date. The Village Hall Management Committee may dispose of unremoved equipment or property and charge the Hirer. Hirers must ensure appropriate Performing Rights Society (PRS) licenses are held for music use. Additional fees apply for ticket prices of £20 or above.
