Ridge Farm is a historic 16th-century farmhouse with a boutique feel, located on the Surrey/Sussex border near Capel. It offers exclusive use of its 12-acre estate, including gardens, meadows, and woodland. Formerly a residential recording studio, it retains music history artifacts. The venue is ideal for weddings, celebrations, workshops, retreats, corporate events, and group holidays. It is a self-catering venue where clients can choose their own caterers.

The Estate (Exclusive Use)

Exclusive use of the 16th-century Farmhouse (sleeps up to 24-25 people in 12 bedrooms), a separate Bridal Cottage (sleeps 2 guests), and The Granary (sleeps 2-3 additional guests). Includes 12 acres of gardens, meadows, and woodland. The poolhouse can be converted for reception and party use. Civil Ceremony License for Woodland (up to 150 guests) and Farmhouse (up to 50 guests). Maximum 50 guests for winter weddings (October to April).

How to book
Ridge Farm offers weekend exclusive use packages, typically from Friday midday arrival to Monday midday departure (3 nights). This includes the 16th-century Farmhouse (sleeping up to 24-25 people in 12 bedrooms), a separate Bridal Cottage (sleeps 2 guests), and The Granary (sleeps 2-3 additional guests). The package also includes exclusive use of 12 acres of gardens, meadows, and woodland, a floodlit tennis court, and an indoor leisure complex with a heated swimming pool, spa, sauna, and hot tub. The poolhouse can be converted for reception and party use. The venue holds a Civil Ceremony License for the Woodland (up to 150 guests) and the Farmhouse (up to 50 guests). Provision of reception furniture (Refectory & Round tables, chairs), complete set-up for Blessing within the grounds, a weekend liaison, fully staffed reception bar, and a parking attendant are included. A camping area with electricity & water supply is available (campers use poolhouse changing/shower/toilet facilities). Clients choose their own caterers, and there is no corkage charge for bringing your own alcohol. The venue provides bar staff for evening celebrations. Gas barbecues and bathing towels are provided for Sunday celebrations. A security deposit of £1500 is payable on arrival and repaid within a week, less metered utilities.
