The Ruckinge Parish Council took over operational running and upkeep of the Village Hall on December 12th, 2022. Renovations occurred in 2023 and 2024, with Stage 3 renovations planned for 2025. The Main Hall was completely transformed in 2023 with replastering, repainting, new lighting, and a revarnished floor. Bookings are reported to be 'up'.

How to Book
Hirers must contact the Bookings Secretary at least one week before the hire date to arrange key collection/access. A booking enquiry form is available. 50% of the hire fee is due at the time of booking. The balance payment is due one week prior to the event. Payment methods accepted: Direct bank transfer to Parish Council account, Cash. Cheques and Cards are not accepted. Cancellation by Parish Council: Full refund. Cancellation by Hirer: One month or more notice - fee refunded less a £10 administration fee. Less than one month notice - refunds at the sole discretion of the Parish Council.
