Shadoxhurst Village Hall is available for hire, with a maximum capacity of 100 people. It includes the use of a kitchen, which may be shared if the adjacent Shadoxhurst Pavilion is also hired by a different user, or exclusive if the entire hall is hired. The hall is subject to various restrictions, including no 18th or 21st birthday parties, no pins, blue or white tac, Sellotape or similar on walls/surfaces, no glitter or stickers, and all rubbish must be removed by the hirer. The hall, including toilets and kitchen, must be left clean and tidy. The heating system is pre-set and should not be adjusted. The sale of alcohol requires a Temporary Events Licence, with a copy provided to the Parish Council 48 hours prior to the event. No equipment to broadcast live television without Parish Council authorization.

How to book
Bookings require a completed form to be emailed or posted to the Parish Clerk at least 10 days prior to the event. Payment is by bank transfer, with separate payments for hire and deposit. The hirer is responsible for ensuring payment and confirmation. The building is unlocked by a caretaker at the start of the hire time and locked at the end. Hirers must be over 21 and present at all times when public/guests are on premises. If an outside company (e.g., disco, children's entertainment) is hired, a copy of their Public Liability Insurance must be submitted with the booking form. Time booked should allow for setting up and clearing up, including sweeping, wiping surfaces, tables, and chairs.
