St John the Baptist Church in Loughton offers two distinct hireable spaces: the striking and spacious Main Church Building and the well-lit Parish Hall. The Main Church features over 400 square metres of flexible floor space, high ceilings, a solid stone floor, natural light, adjustable electrical lighting, numerous power outlets, and modern underfloor heating. It boasts a state-of-the-art D&B Audio sound system, a cinema-quality 8K lumen WXGA projector, and upgraded lighting. The Parish Hall provides up to 80 square metres of usable floor space, an adjacent kitchen, and nearby toilets including disabled access. It can be divided in two and has its own sound system and projector. Both spaces are suitable for a wide range of events from weddings, conferences, concerts, and exhibitions in the church, to meetings, classes, and parties in the hall. The venue is located in a quiet residential area with very little external noise intrusion.
