Stockland Village Hall is nestled in the Blackdown Hills, an area of outstanding natural beauty, roughly equidistant between Honiton, Chard and Axminster with good, well signposted access from both the A30/A303 and the A35. It is a short walk from St Michael and All Angels church and The Kings Arms Public House. The hall was refurbished in 2015 with a new acoustic ceiling and features a sprung wooden floor for dancing, interchangeable stage blocks, and a permanent bar with a chiller cabinet. It includes 150 chairs and tables in the hire fee. The venue also offers a modern, well-equipped kitchen to commercial standards, a committee room, Wi-Fi, ample parking, disabled access and toilets, new toilet and storage facilities, and a dedicated pre-school area. The 3.5 acre site includes a playing field, cricket pitch, tennis court and play area. It is suitable for a wide range of events including weddings, parties, reunions, anniversaries, children's parties, conferences, corporate events, community events, music events, art productions, club meetings, fitness classes, wakes, baby groups, educational pursuits, church events/choir practice, school events, dog training, naming ceremonies, and film shoots.
