How to Book
To book, contact the office to schedule a tour. Check availability and the booking system online. Read Terms and Conditions before booking. For weddings, visit the dedicated weddings page. A £30 deposit is required when booking or 28 days before the event, with the full balance due 7 days in advance. Deposits are repaid (less £10 admin charge) if cancellation is made by letter 3 months or more before the hiring date. 15 minutes are allocated for setup and 15 minutes for breakdown (excludes weddings). Hirers must nominate a minimum of two stewards (over 21) for events, with one designated as the Authorised Person present at all times. Stewards must wear distinctive clothing/armbands and be aware of the fire action plan. Maximum attendance must be indicated to and approved by the Council and not exceeded. Hirers are responsible for obtaining any necessary licenses other than those held by the Town Council, and must comply with Fair Trading Laws if selling goods. Activities for children must comply with The Children Act 1989 and appropriate background checks for those with access to children/vulnerable adults.
