About
A versatile, newly refurbished community hall and playing fields available for private functions, exercise and slimming classes, parties, celebrations, and meetings. The Foundation is a charity established in 1945 to commemorate the Great War and Second World War. All electrical equipment brought onto the premises must be PAT tested and certificated. The hall cannot supply a telephone, specialist stage lighting or gantries, or storage facilities for short-term hire.

Polished, ballroom-standard dance floor (no stiletto heels). Raised stage with stepped access (not curtained). Air Source Heat Pump system for heating and cooling. Good newly-renovated lighting (fluorescent tubes). Supplementary ceiling fans. Free Wifi (password from Bookings Secretary). Basic PA system and speakers (mixing desk permanently installed, training required). Audio Induction Loop system. Electronically-operated drop-down projection screen over the stage (hirer to supply PAT-tested data projector, laptop, leads, microphones). Lightweight chairs, large folding refectory/craft tables, smaller square café style tables.

How to Book
Bookings can be made by contacting the Bookings Administrator. Full payment for one-off bookings is due two weeks before the event, with regular bookings invoiced monthly. A deposit is required to secure a booking.
