How to Book
The hall is available for regular or one-off hire, but not on Sundays. To book, use the Trull Village Memorial Hall Booking Calendar link and select the 'Booking Enquiry' button, ensuring the requested time includes setup and pack away. Email confirmation and additional information will be sent upon booking acceptance, followed by an invoice with payment details. Cancellations must be made at least 21 days before the hire date, otherwise the full invoice must be paid. The hall must be vacated by midnight (23:59 at the latest). A secure key safe code will be emailed upon receipt of payment; the key must be returned to the key safe immediately after unlocking. The Village Hall is not licensed to sell or supply alcohol; if alcohol is to be sold (cash bar or through ticket sales), a Temporary Events Notice (TEN) from Somerset Council is required, and hirers must inform the Bookings Secretary of their intention to apply for a TEN. Bouncy castles are permitted in the garden area or inside the Hall, but a copy of the indemnity policy from the bouncy castle provider MUST be sent to [email protected], as bookings will not be allowed without one. All rubbish must be removed from the Hall and taken away by the hirer; black bin bags are provided in the main kitchen. All private parties require a deposit, with amounts varying depending on the party type; deposits are refunded within 14 days upon satisfactory inspection of the Hall, and bank account details for the refund should be emailed to [email protected]. Emergency exits must not be obstructed. If only one area is hired, other hirers may be present; collect tables and chairs quietly and keep doors between rooms closed.
