How to book

All hiring must be made via the Booking Secretary. The hirer must sign and return a copy of the Conditions of Hire. Keys may be obtained from the Caretaker. Keys must be returned to John Wright no later than the following day. Hirers are asked to download and return the 'Conditions of Hire' document. These rules ensure good management and consistency with licensing objectives (prevention of crime and disorder, prevention of public nuisance, protection of children from harm, public safety). Responsibilities of Hirer: Supervision of premises and contents during use. Responsible for any damage, breakage, or loss. No smoking policy inside the hall. If smoking outside, provide ashtrays and ensure no cigarette ends are left in the grounds. Supervise parking to avoid obstructing the lane or nearby property entrances. Ensure everyone leaves quietly, especially at night. Leave the hall clean and tidy (replace chairs/tables, sweep floor, check toilets/kitchen, empty bins). Turn off all heaters and lights, and lock all outside doors.
