How to Book

Contact Revd Matt Clayton ([email protected], 01392 534408) or the Parish Administrator Mary Keaney ([email protected], 07856 848121) to discuss requirements and check availability. A completed booking form is required. Security deposit and full hire fee must be paid at least one week before the booking date. Deposits are retained by the bookings manager and returned after the booking, provided conditions of hire are met. A key-holder fee of £20 per booking applies for hires outside church office hours, payable directly to the key-holder on the day. Additional charges apply if the key-holder is kept waiting. A venue manager fee of £10.55 per hour of the booking period may be required for certain events at the discretion of the bookings manager. Public Liability Insurance may be required for hirers. A safeguarding policy is required for events with children and/or vulnerable adults, along with completion of the Diocese of Exeter 'Hirers of Church Premises' statement. Bookings must respect the church's primary use as a place of worship and not interfere with its weekly running. Hirers must obtain permission to move furniture and restore it to original positions. Premises must be left clean and tidy. Crockery breakages charged at £1 per item. Moving of the piano is not permitted. Events that negate or undermine the Christian faith, or are sexually explicit/offensive, are not permitted.
