How to Book

Occasional bookings must be made on a Booking Application Form (obtainable from the website or Bookings Secretary). A deposit is required to secure the booking. Regular and provisional bookings can be made by telephone (01264 738158) or email ([email protected]). Minimum charge: Two hours per session at the appropriate rate. Keys are collected as instructed from Diplands Cottage, near the War Memorial. Kitchen and bar charge is included in the hire charge if only required for making drinks (tea, coffee, squash, etc.). Tables and chairs are included in the hire charges. Crockery and cutlery are available on request. A comprehensive sound system is available by special arrangement (charges apply). Hire period normally applies from key collection to key return, unless special arrangements are made. Local rates apply when hirers live within the parish of St Mary Bourne and/or the majority of attendees are locals from within the parish. Local rates do not apply to commercial activities or external organisations. Special rates for regular users apply to hirers who book facilities on a regular basis (e.g., every day for a week, every week for a month, or more than six times in a year, if booked in advance). Hire charges were authorised by the Trustees and Committee of Management and apply from April 1st, 2023. Potential hirers should clarify the specific rate before entering into any booking agreement.
