Getting started
Add a hall that is not listed
Create a draft listing for a village hall, community centre or another hireable venue.
Check for an existing listing
Search by the hall’s name and postcode first. A hall may be listed under a slightly different name. Claim an existing listing if you find one.
Create your draft
- Open Add your hall. Enter Hall name, What kind of place is it?, Postcode and Your email. If signed in, check the Adding as address; use Not you? Sign out if it is wrong.
- Choose Add my hall. If Is this it? appears, check each suggested hall. Use Claim it for your existing listing; choose No, add mine only if yours is a different venue.
- If signed out, open the email link and choose Sign in. If signed in, your draft opens directly.
- In Your listing, complete the address, description, facilities, rooms, prices, photos and booking contact details. Changes save as you go.
Find your draft again
Sign in with the same email and open your dashboard. Choose your hall if a list appears. Keep editing this draft while it is reviewed; do not add it a second time.
If the postcode is not found, check it is the hall’s full postcode. If the receipt says the email did not send, use the resend option. HallMatch emails you when the listing is live.
Screenshots use an example hall and fictional details. On a phone, some navigation is under More or the arrow beside the Diary heading.
