Give someone access to your hall
Invite a committee member or booking secretary without sharing your sign-in.
Where to goYour hall → People (under More on smaller screens)
Send an invitation
- In People, find Add someone.
- Enter Their name and Their email. Check the email carefully.
- Choose Run the hall with you to give access to enquiries, the diary and the listing.
- Choose Send them an invitation. Ask them to accept the email using that same address.
What your colleague needs to do
They open the invitation email and choose Yes, I’ll help on the page it opens. This accepts the invitation and signs them into the hall. They do not need to claim the hall separately.
Back in People, refresh to check that they have moved from an outstanding invitation to the team. For later visits, they sign in with the invited email address.
If the invitation is missing or wrong
Check the address in People and ask them to check junk mail. Use Send it again beside their invitation if needed; obey the wait message if it is too soon. A resent invitation replaces the old link, so they should use the latest email.
For a mistyped address, choose Take it back, then invite the correct address. Do not share your own sign-in link.
Only need paperwork reminders?
Choose Just get the paperwork reminders, then Add them to the reminders. This does not give access to the diary, enquiries or listing, and no sign-in is needed. They receive a notice and can unsubscribe from the emails.
If Add someone is missing
Ask the person in charge of the hall to invite them. If that person has left, contact HallMatch with the hall’s name and postcode.
Screenshots use an example hall and fictional details. On a phone, some navigation is under More or the arrow beside the Diary heading.
